Run As Date overview
Version 1.8 released at 10/15/2022
Run As Date is a small Windows 11 and Windows 10 sidebar gadget that allows you to schedule your computer to launch a specific application at a designated time, quickly and conveniently, without using the Windows Task Scheduler. You just need to set the desired date and time in the future (you can specify a specific day and time). Additionally, you can choose a specific time interval from the scheduling moment, ranging from 1 to 999 seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, or even years. Then, you only need to provide the desired application path and, optionally, parameters. That’s it. Very simple, isn’t it?
If you need to ensure that the selected application starts at a specified time, even if you put the computer into sleep or hibernation mode during the waiting period, you can forcibly trigger the program to run, preventing any errors caused by using these modes.
The main gadget’s frame displays the date and time of the application execution. Additionally, you can customize the gadget’s appearance, including its size and the colors of text and background, to suit your preferences.
All in all, Run As Date can be used by individuals of all skill levels. This gadget is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit systems.
